Learn celestial navigation while crossing the Pacific aboard the Jeanneau 45
A. J. Wanderlust.
We will depart Honolulu, Hawaii, in mid August 2007 and make the
2400 mile passage across the Pacific with our landfall at Glacier Bay, Alaska. Please plan a month for this passage.
You must have knowledge of three point and running fixes. You will learn
sun and star sights and how to plot your position. Study materials and a sextant
will be provided. Each student will be expected to participate in all
facets of shipboard life.
The cost for this passage is $3000.00 excluding airfare.
